Johnathan is a great man of God, who did all things to the fullest and no matter who you are, he would’ve left a lasting impression in your life.  Even in his passing, he leaves us with the challenge to reach higher and to run further and longer.  He set the standard high and to me, he is the modern day Apostle Paul.  I might even call him Apostle Johnathan.  He is a martyr for the cause of the Gospel; without shame or hesitation, Johnathan carried out his given tasks in the Great Commission to save souls.

He’s with the Lord now and more complete and alive than he could ever have been on earth.  It is always the ones who stay behind who suffer most and the closer you were to a great person, the more you hurt.  Please keep Johnathan’s family in your prayers, that the Lord’s comfort would saturate every aspect of their being.

    God is good.

The Lord used him to change my perspectives on what it means to truly live life to the fullest; don’t you dare think it’s some sort of cliche.  He is just 33 years young.  It’s with Johnathan that I shed my first tears at a funeral and with those tears, something was cleansed and released; my life will never be the same.

Johnathan, on the Lord’s return, let’s all hook up somewhere up there, in the air.

    God is good.

  • It’s encouraging to hear how Johnathan’s life and death has impacted so many’s lives….I’ve yet to know what it means for me and our two children….in the mean time, these encouragements are like food and water for me to live on…..thanks, Jaebum….

  • i think it is awesome that you did that in Jonathans memory. My name is cammie, and i know you dont know me, but i still think it is cool..ill pray for his family.

  • I’m good :)

    Thanks. I don’t hate FOBs.

Pray for my sanity! Just kidding.

Just for the record….David, as well as myself, have been truly blessed this year by all your support, guidance, and friendship. (ew…I hate referring to stuff…as ”david and I” but sometimes I’m a little more eloquent w/ stuff like this than he)

You came in at an opportune time and provided a kind of instruction and friendship we both really needed. You showed a real interest in what he’s doing…and made a real investment in him…and your faith in him because of your faith in Him…has been priceless.

    Thanks for everything…

He’s gonna need your tough love a lot next year

    God bless you.

    Sunny

  • I finished my tests!! finally! we should talk sometime :)

  • I’m sorry to hear about your friend, but what a legacy he’s left behind. It’s times such as these where I’m thankful for the Hope we have in Christ. We’re more than just skin and bones, we’re more than just a part of a cosmic chain reaction, we’re even more than the life we live on earth. We’re more because of Him.

But for now, we are still human. We hurt and bleed, scream and cry. But hope is on our side.
