  • I interviewed a great candidate today, who turned out to be a Christian.  His interview with the hiring manager went well, too.

It’s awesome to meet Christians with integrity in this business where money seems to be king.   But not only that, it was very clear this meeting was no accident.

We think very much alike and function on the same wave length.  He’s been involved with many similar things as I have and he loves Christ and He loves ministry… and we agreed that our favorite person, besides Christ, is Paul ESPECIALLY because he was a tent maker.  We must’ve talked for over an hour, going back and forth and just sharing.  We’re gonna hook up for coffee and continue our conversation.  It’s as if my interviewing this guy was actually a divine appointment.

The only difference is… he’s 54, married and has a daughter who just started working at Starbucks and who’s husband has his gallery displayed there.  His wife is just accepted a position as a Starbucks manager – mu ha ha ha… maybe I can get my discount again!  NO!  It’s just wishful thinking.

He worked for the same real estate company as I do, prior Army man (I’m in the Army Reserves) and he wants to do ministry funded by his business.  Now, we’re about to work for the same company.

The people God brings into our lives… don’t you dare think it’s an accident.  There is defintely purpose in our meeting people…

God is pretty cool like that huh?

  • It’s been a while since I had the chance to read a lot of other people’s xanga’s and to explore some new territory.  Such diverse perspectives and experiences… what would cause anyone to think they know “SO MUCH” about everything (I know, I should be asking myself that same question.. heh heh).  I’m learning though… and when I stop learning, maybe that’s the moment it’s time for me to go “home”.
